Dear prospective client:
As a matter of introduction, let us provide some background
information on our organization.
We are a seventeen-year old field service and support firm.
Prior to that, the principal had a twenty-five year background in land
mobile communications (design, layout, installation and
maintenance,). We have spent the last seventeen years
specializing in identifying and resolving computer power protection
issues (more design, layout, installation and maintenance).
The net result of our efforts has been the realization that all we
learned installing and protecting two-way radio systems translated
directly to protecting computer systems.
Simply stated, the four concepts;
SHUNT
(governance of earth grounding paths-earthing)
LIMIT
(governance of excessive voltage swings-transients)
ISOLATE
(provision of electrical isolation via impedance)
FILL
(eliminating problems due to sags and outages)
are the keys to designing and implementing effective
electrical power and communications protection systems.
